Every send leaves a fingerprint. Quick answers below, deeper guides if you need them. A real human reads every email.
Sign up with your email, set a strong password, turn on 2FA. The first time you sign in, Vault shows you a recovery phrase. Write it down somewhere you trust. That phrase is the recovery path for protected uploads if you ever lose access.
Lost access?Drag a folder in. Use the Mac batch uploader for thousands of tracks at once. Use the Chrome extension to pull a library out of Disco or another tool. Folders become playlist trees. Duplicates of files you already have are detected for you.
Uploads guideGenerate a share link in two clicks. Gate it behind an NDA if you want. Apply a per-recipient watermark that can help identify which copy leaked. Recipients leave timestamped comments. You see who opened it, available city and country signals, device details when detected, and whether they finished the song.
Sharing guideDrag-and-drop, resumable uploads of any size, automatic detection of duplicates of files you already have, folder-becomes-playlist, Mac batch uploader, Chrome extension.
Tokenized share links, optional NDA gate, per-recipient watermarks you can trace later, real-time recipient analytics, world-map of opens.
AI Atmos render with curated style presets, AI Cleans, automatic BPM and key detection, lyric transcription, AI cover art, semantic search across your catalog. We do not use your audio to train models.
Encryption is available for protected uploads. Your recovery phrase helps unlock protected files if you lose access. Save it somewhere you trust.
Free, Starter $20, Pro $39 (7-day trial, card required). Pay by card via Stripe. 30-day grace if you cancel.
Profile, profession, 2FA, account and catalog export, and account deletion with a 30-day grace period before scheduled purge.
iOS app. Mac batch uploader. Chrome extension. Live activity feed. Push notifications when shares are opened.
Sign-in trouble, share links not opening, audio not playing, AI jobs failing. Status page is the first stop.
Only if you saved your recovery phrase when you signed up. For protected uploads, your recovery phrase is the recovery path. If you lose both your password and recovery phrase, support cannot unlock those protected files for you.
If you have your phrase, head to Settings > Privacy > Recover with phrase.
No. We do not use your tracks to train models. Some features analyze tracks you choose, such as BPM, key, lyrics, stems, and search, and those results stay tied to your account. See Terms §3.
Two paths. (1) Export your catalog as a zip, then drop it into the Mac batch uploader or the Chrome extension. Folders rebuild as playlists. Files you already have are detected automatically. (2) The Chrome extension can pull some libraries directly with your consent (currently in beta). If we don't support a tool you need, email [email protected] and we'll prioritize it.
Not yet. Vault embeds an inaudible per-recipient watermark on supported tiers. We need to know the template to attribute leaks back to whoever leaked. Rolling your own would break that. If you have a specific watermarking workflow you'd like supported, email [email protected].
Open Settings > Plan and pick a new tier. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. If your catalog or features exceed what the new tier allows, we'll walk you through the options before the change kicks in. There's a 30-day grace if you cancel.
Open Settings > Privacy > Delete account. Once you confirm, your account is marked for deletion and your subscription cancels. You get a 30-day grace period to cancel the request. After that, a scheduled purge removes your account data, library records, share records, and active audio files from active systems. Older backups age out under the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy.
Yes. We take encrypted backups on a regular cadence and keep off-site copies for disaster recovery. The backup system is designed to reduce the risk of a single storage failure.
Yes. Open Settings > Privacy > Export to download your account record, catalog metadata, playlists, share records, and watermark mappings. For data that is not covered by the export, email support and we will help route the request.
Browser playback uses a streaming-friendly version of your file that's generated during upload (in your browser, before encryption). If a track came in through an older import path it may not have that version yet, and we'll regenerate it on the next play attempt. If it still won't play after a refresh, send feedback from Settings → Help and we'll look at it.
Open Settings → Help (avatar menu, or ⌘,) and click Send feedback. Tell us what broke and what you expected to happen. You can opt in to attach diagnostics so engineering can reproduce it without playing detective. Everything routes to a private channel a real human reads.
Send us a note and a real person will reply, usually within one business day. We will never ask for your password or your recovery phrase. If anyone claiming to be from Session™ Vault asks for either, it is not us.
